All-Time Favorite Jukebox List
Here are the 50 songs from the modern pop era (1950-2009) that I would put on my Seeburg Select-o-matic jukebox. Twenty of the records came from the 1950s-1960s, 19 from the 1970s-1980s and 11 from the 1990s-2000s. These are my favorite jukebox singles, not necessarily my choice of the best or most influential recordings over the past 60 years. Why only 11 from the 1990s-2000s? Maybe because I really listened to the records from the 1950s-1980s on a jukebox. By the start of the 1990s, jukeboxes were as rare as 8-tracks.
